Train driver recruitment

The OPC are heavily involved in all aspects of the recruitment process for trainee train drivers within the UK and have been for over 30 years. We have worked with a wide range of organisations including maintenance, passenger and freight operators and we assess candidates in a wide variety of ways, depending on the specific requirements of our clients. We have a very flexible approach to the recruitment needs of each organisation, albeit using a very structured and formalised process that is used within the whole of the UK rail industry. Our assessors are trained to the highest level and operate to the highest professional standards, as well as being friendly and down to earth with all candidates and clients.

We have a permanent assessment centre in Watford (20 miles outside London) but we can also travel and set up assessments anywhere within the UK. We can also undertake as little or as much of the assessment as you require from managing the application process through to running and managing the assessment centres.
