Tests and Exercises
We provide immediately available assessment tools and techniques designed to identify potential and present capability in job applicants or job holders. OPC Assessment’s tests and exercises not only accurately assess individuals but are also easy to purchase, use and understand.
All of our assessment techniques are rigorously researched and trialled. Tests and exercises are based on comprehensive job analysis, and psychometric principles are applied from first design. They each assess one or several competencies which have been shown to be central to effective performance in a number of roles. This enables organisations to have confidence that the tests they are using have clear, demonstrable links to successful job performance.
Our commitment to a continuous programme of development and evaluation means that test users are able to make the best decisions about suitability for a role, or development activities, with confidence in the fairness, validity and reliability of the tests they are using.
Test Finder
Please use our Test Finder to help you find the Tests & Exercises you’re looking for. There is a search feature and various filter options to help you browse through our range of Tests & Exercises in a way that refines results to suit you. There is also a ‘Competency’ filter option to help clients further in their search for the right assessment tools.
Test Comparison
We have added a new comparison feature enabling users to review different tools side-by-side with a sharable URL. When viewing filter results simply click on the radio button next to the tools you’d like to compare, there’s a maximum of 3 that can be selected at once, then click the ‘Compare’ button above your Search Results. Here is an example of a comparison between tools that all assess Verbal Ability.
Registration
To use any of OPC Assessment's tests and exercises, or our online system Candela™, you will need to register with us (free of charge). We ask that you have either of the following certifications in Occupational Testing:
- BPS Test User Occupational: Ability (TUO-A formerly known as Level A)
- BPS Test User Occupational: Personality (TUO-P formerly known as Level B)
OR
- have equivalent training/qualifications,
- have been trained by the OPC to use particular tests. Details of all the training we offer can be found here.
