The OPC have been running their new updated psychological test user training for a number of years now, with huge success. Two training programmes are offered:
- Assistant Test User (Test Administrator) – this training covers the essentials of administering and scoring a whole range of psychological tests. Assistant Test Users will work under the supervision of a fully trained test user. The face to face training is 1 day.
- Test User: Occupational, Ability (Level A) – this training provides test users with the necessary skills to select, administer, score and interpret a whole range of ability and aptitude tests. The face to face training is 2 days.
A blend of distance learning and face to face training
Our clients have told us that they want their test user training to be as efficient and as cost effective as possible. So we have now introduced a blend of distance learning and face to face training. The distance learning is undertaken prior to the more practical face to face training. This is a cost effective option and it gives delegates the opportunity to work on their distance learning materials at their own pace and at a time that is suitable for them.
Top notch simulation training: Learning with a real difference!
We want our delegates to be able to see the practical relevance of what they are learning during their training. We also want them to be able to apply their newly acquired assessor skills quickly and effectively back at work. So our new training programmes are designed as a real life simulation. Delegates work for a fictitious organisation as an assessor and all of their assignments are about meeting their organisation’s need. They answer questions, prepare advice for their colleagues and design real to life assessment processes for the organisation. The simulation brings the assessment alive to the delegates, aids learning and knowledge transfer back to the work environment.
Lots of support and guidance from our trainers
We have been running assessor training for nearly 21 years. We have learnt lots about how to help our delegates to gain maximum advantage from their training and to have a fun time too! Our trainers give our delegates endless help and guidance to ensure they are competent and confident in using tests, and to do so in a friendly, fun and cooperative learning environment.
Competitive and varied pricing
Delegates can attend one of our public programmes or alternatively you could elect for in-house training that will give further savings and greater flexibility as to when the training is run.
