More and more organisations are assessing larger volumes of candidates and taking advantage of the latest technology to do this. The OPC are becoming more and more involved with high volume recruitment and achieving great successes for our clients.
For roles where hundreds, if not thousands of candidates will be applying, then online assessment is the way forwards. The OPC have worked with a growing number of organisations to develop a whole process from the application stage right through to the recommendation of candidates for final manager interview.
The first step is identify the key competencies required for the role and we can then design/recommend a range of assessment methods with which to assess your candidates on. These may include, but not limited to, online questionnaires, online tests/exercises, face to face tests/exercises, structured interviews etc.
With the new advances in IT the use of online questionnaires and tests/exercises couldn’t be easier. The OPC can design these tools bespoke or we have a range of off-the-shelf solutions ready for you to use. The software is easy to use and very cost-effective. If you are not trained in the use of psychometric tests then the OPC can offer a bureau service and do all the testing on your behalf.
Once all the online testing has been completed, typically face to face assessments are then undertaken which may include a range of psychometric tests and/or structured interviews. Again the OPC can undertake these for you if you are not trained.
By the end of the process you should have a manageable number of candidates to proceed into potential job roles. Our last high volume recruitment campaign saw 10,000 candidates being taken down to around 80 successful candidates within a matter of months.
